Sulabha (Su) Abhyankar is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/psychotherapist in the field for 31 years working with trauma, addictions and relationship issues. She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing), Sand tray therapy, and Psychodrama, as a Provisional Certified Practitioner in training to be a TEP.(Trainer, Educator and Practitioner). She provides psychotherapy for individual, group and family intensives, including coping with cancer for patients and families due to her own experience with the devastating effects of cancer on her family. She facilitates Team building workshops for agencies and Compassion Fatigue Management for Clinicians. She utilizes Breath Work, Guided Imagery and Visualization techniques to build your inner strength to face life’s challenges.
She has a Masters in Social Work from University of Bombay, India 1987 and is Licensed in the State of California since 1999.
