Dr. Karimkhani, D.O.

Dr. Karimkhani, D.O. is an adolescent and adult psychiatrist who is dual board certified in psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. She is the founder of Orange County Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine (OCPAM). As the founder of OCPAM, she has built a practice rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to her community.

With extensive expertise spanning substance abuse, dual diagnosis, PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders and emergency psychiatry, Dr. Karimkhani brings a comprehensive and nuanced medication management approach to substance use disorder treatment.

Her dedication to service extends far beyond her office practice. As a retired Lt. Colonel, Dr. Karimkhani completed 4 tours of duty in the Middle East, giving her a firsthand understanding of the unique psychological challenges faced by military personnel and their families. This experience informs her deeply personal approach to treating veterans, active-duty service members, and their loved ones — a population she considers among her highest calling to serve.
